WRITING & MEDIA

I write from my experiences in geology, academia, and traveling the world for research and promotion of international science. The goal is to bring scientific findings directly to the public in understandable and relatable narritives.

SCIENCE

I'm trained as a climate scientist and glacial geologist. I have worked on glacier change projects in Alaska, Arctic Canada, Svalbard, Scandinavia, the lower 48, Greenland and Antarctica. I am interested in using past changes in glaciers and ice sheets in response to climate change to better predict their current and future responses to global warming.
